  • Algorithms Galore

    Upper school have been learning to program a lunar rover as part of their topic work. After a bit of practice at writing instructions using an app, they all had a go at making the robot move. Next time, they'll be programming the rover to move around and avoid objects on its own.

  • Dodgeball!

    On Monday, a group of lower school children took part in a dodgeball festival at Arnold Hill Academy. They had to do warm-up drills and exercises to help develop skills useful in the game and then they got to have a go at playing. They all tried really hard and represented Porchester brilliantly.

  • What makes the solar system beautiful?

    This week Upper School have explored different art techniques to create their own solar system.  

    Using Unity, the children worked in randomly selected groups, working together to decide which techniques to use for the different planets. 

    The results certainly are beautiful!
