For today's writing lesson, we would like you to draw out a table with 2 headings - 'formal phrases' and 'informal phrases.'
Look at the document 'formal or informal' and decide which phrases go under which columns in your table.
Once you have done this, look at the 2 example letters. Can you pick out formal and informal phrases to also include in your table?
