Vacancy for Senior Midday Supervisor

 

If you are a caring and positive person, who wants to support and help children feel safe during lunchtime then there is an opportunity to make a difference to the happiness, health and behaviour of our children at Porchester Junior School.  This Senior Midday Supervisory Assistant role would involve leading the lunch time supervision in the dinner hall/sandwich hall, assisting the Headteacher in securing the safety and welfare of pupils, and leading a team of Midday Supervisors. This is a permanent position and a great opportunity to work within a nurturing and safe environment with caring and experienced staff.

•    Is personable, friendly, approachable with a can-do approach to challenges.

Vacancy - Midday Supervisory Assistant

If you are a caring and positive person, who wants to support and help children feel safe during lunchtime then there is an opportunity to make a difference to the happiness, health and behaviour of our children at Porchester Junior School.  This Midday Supervisory Assistant role would involve covering lunch time supervision in the dinner hall/sandwich hall as well as leading play time activities outside.  This is a permanent position and a great opportunity to work within a nurturing and safe environment with caring and experienced staff.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • has experience working with children

  • is calm and patient when dealing with challenging behaviour

  • is approachable and can work within a team

  • is flexible

  • can use their own initiative to support our children

  • has a child-centred outlook

  • is willing and able to attend training out of working hours

The position is 1 hour 15 minutes per day (6 hours 15 minutes per week), term time only.  The starting annual salary is £2706.88.
