Welcome to Stanton class! One of three Lower School classes at Porchester Junior School.

My name is Miss McMath and I have the pleasure of teaching Year 3&4 this year! 

Year 3&4 is an exciting time for our children to become confident learners. We are excited about delivering all the learning experiences we have planned for the children this year! Please check the page for updates and photographs of Stanton Class hard at work and having fun!

The author behind the name... 

Joe Todd-Stanton grew up in Brighton and received a first-class degree in Illustration from UWE Bristol. He has won awards including the Waterstone’s Children’s Book Prize for Best Illustrated Book in 2018.

His books allow the readers to dive deep into a fictional story that open the door to creativity and wonder. Not only has he written some beautiful stories, he has also illustrated them himself too.

Class 5 will be exploring his work and going on the amazing adventures together as the Stanton Class.
