Message from Miss Moore (Headteacher)

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of our amazing school, where our children are at the heart of everything we do.  I am driven by educating our pupils and love being involved with the curriculum and teaching and learning in school so that I can see first hand all of the high standards and progress our children make.

At Porchester, we are a family and work together to ensure that our school meets the needs of all of our children and our community.  We all strive to be the PRIDE of Porchester, now and always.  This is shown through our school values of Respect, Aspiration, Responsibility, Confidence and Resilience are the golden thread through our school and in everything that we do. We are incredibly proud of our amazing children who support us to Lead our school.  Our children have the opportunity to take part in leadership roles through out their time with us, with the aspiration to become Head Boy, Head Girl or be part of our Prefect Team when they reach Year 6.  These roles enable us to see our school and the ever changing world through the eyes of our children.  Our children lead on school improvement, peer support (well-being, sports leadership, librarians) and raising funds for our fantastic school.  

At Porchester, we strive to provide our children with a high-quality education and experiences that supports and develops the whole child.  We are committed to providing opportunities that enables all pupils to achieve every day that will not only ensure our children are secondary ready, but also prepare them for life in what will be their modern Britain.

I hope the website will give you as much information as possible about our school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through the curriculum, and extra curricular activities. It will grow over time as we add more information, but can never replace the first-hand experience of coming to visit us.  If you would like to arrange a visit then please contact the schools office at office@porchester.net.
