I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of our amazing school, where children are truly at the heart of everything we do. I am driven by educating our pupils and love being actively involved in the curriculum and teaching and learning every single day. This allows me to witness first-hand the high standards and impressive progress our children make every day.

At Porchester, we are a family. We work together to ensure our school meets the needs of all our children and our wider community. We strive to be the PRIDE of Porchester- now and always. Our school values of Respect, Aspiration, Responsibility, Confidence, and Resilience are the golden thread that runs through everything we do.

Our vision is clear:

This vision guides our work and inspires us to create a nurturing and ambitious environment where every child can thrive. PRIDE runs through everything we are and everything we strive to be for all our children and staff. 

We are especially proud of our children, who help lead our school. From peer support roles to sports leadership, librarianship, and fundraising, our pupils take on leadership responsibilities throughout their time with us. By Year 6, they have the opportunity to become Head Boy, Head Girl, or join our Prefect Team. These roles allow us to see our school and the world through their eyes and make changes that impact them the most. 

Our aim is to provide a high-quality education and enriching experiences that support and develop the whole child. We are committed to helping every pupil achieve their best, preparing them not only for secondary school but also for life in modern Britain.

I hope our website gives you a glimpse into our vibrant school community, our dedicated staff, and the many activities our children enjoy—both through the curriculum and beyond. While the website will continue to grow, nothing compares to the experience of visiting us in person.
