As part of the No Room for Racism campaign, Porchester was chosen to take part in a filmed session, and our children were thrilled when Callum Hudson-Odoi from Nottingham Forest walked into their lesson.

The session focused on equality, diversity and inclusion, values that are central to our curriculum and ones we explore regularly with our children. After learning together, the children had the opportunity to interview Callum themselves, asking thoughtful questions and discussing issues that really matter.

Watching them speak with such confidence, curiosity and maturity was wonderful. They were an absolute credit to our school, and we could not have been prouder of how they represented Porchester.

Callum was fantastic with the children, making them feel at ease and giving them the time to ask questions, share their thoughts and learn from his experiences. The messages he shared about respect, inclusion and belonging helped bring these important topics to life in a meaningful and memorable way.

In between the session, we were also able to create a very special moment for Oliver, one of our most devoted Nottingham Forest fans. Knowing Callum was in school, we simply couldn't let Oliver miss the opportunity to meet him.

What happened next was more than we could have hoped for. Not only did Oliver meet Callum and receive a signed shirt, but Callum went above and beyond by Facetiming Oliver's favourite player, Igor Jesus. The joy on Oliver's face was priceless and a moment none of us will ever forget. We are also delighted that Oliver will now have the opportunity to attend a future Forest match and meet the players.

A huge thank you to Callum Hudson-Odoi, Nottingham Forest, the Premier League and everyone involved in making this happen. What an incredible opportunity for our children to learn about such important issues, and what a wonderful act of kindness shown to one very special young fan.

Lifetime memories made for all.
