Domestic Violence

Domestic abuse is rarely a one-off incident. It is often a pattern of behaviour used to gain power and control over another person. It can happen between adults who are or have been in a relationship, or between family members. Abuse can be:

  • Psychological
  • Physical
  • Sexual
  • Financial
  • Emotional

Anyone can experience domestic abuse—regardless of age, race, gender identity, religion, background, or ethnicity. It is never the fault of the person experiencing it.

We Are Here to Help

If you are experiencing domestic abuse, or are worried about someone else, please know that you are not alone. You can speak to a trusted adult at school. We will listen, support you, and help you access the right services. Your safety and wellbeing are our priority.

We understand that speaking up can be difficult, but we are here for you—confidentially and without judgment.
