We are incredibly proud to announce that the Porchester Debate Club has been crowned the overall winner of the Flying High Debate Finals, finishing 1st out of all 38 Flying High schools.

Last Week, our talented debate team travelled to the Flying High offices to take part in the final round of the competition. Only the five schools who won their local tournaments were invited to this prestigious event, making the standard exceptionally high. Throughout the day, our pupils demonstrated outstanding debating skills, clear communication, and impressive teamwork.

Their arguments were delivered with confidence and passion, and they rose to each challenge set by the judging panel, which included Flying High CEO Mr Wheatley and Deputy CEO Mr Goodman.

Alongside their debating excellence, our pupils were exemplary ambassadors for Porchester. Staff at Flying High commented on their politeness, maturity, and how well they represented the school.

This achievement reflects their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to our Porchester PRIDE values. They have truly become the PRIDE of Porchester, and we could not be prouder of each and every member of the team.
