October 9, 2016: Harvest Festival: Wednesday 12th October, 1:30pm
Harvest Festival – Wednesday 12th October, 1.30 pm We are celebrating harvest festival with the children at St John's Methodist church on the afternoon of Wednesday 12th October. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate parents as there is insufficient room in the church. We hope to have a collection of produce on display in the church to emphasise the harvest message and would welcome donations. We have listed below some examples of suitable donations. Please do NOT send in perishable goods such as fruit and vegetables. ฀ Tins of food ฀ Sugar ฀ Pasta sauce ฀ Cereal (multipacks) ฀ Soup ฀ Pasta ฀ Fruit juice or milk (long life) Biscuits and treats ฀ … and any other non‐perishable food items. Please bring your donations into the school reception on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning so we have time to take these to church.

September 19, 2016: Welcome to the world
Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a fantastic start to the new school year. I promised that I would let you all know when my baby girl made an appearance into the world. Evie Marie was born at 5.12 Saturday morning (17th September) weighing 7lb 11oz. She is settling in at home really well and keeping me busy with lots of cuddles. I will bring her into school soon to meet you all.

September 15, 2016: Competition Time
Have you logged into PurpleMash in the last few days? They've launched a new competition based around their 2Design&Make tool, and its new 3D printing option. Why not design a fantastic model and enter the competition. We'll even take a few of your designs and 3D print them in school too.

July 18, 2016: Information for our Year 6 leavers
Year Six leavers, please read this Important information about accessing the school website and Online Tools. As your education comes to an end at Porchester, your access to the school website will be changing. During August this year you will find that you are no longer able to access many of the learning resources. This will be because your usernames will be removed from our list of users. Other resources you will still be able to access, but not edit or amend. Below is a list of the changes that you will notice; Mathletics: Your account will be removed and access to all of the features in Mathletics no longer possible. Planet Sherston: Your account will be removed and access to all of the features in Planet Sherston no longer possible. PurpleMash: You will still be able to use a limited number of free activities, but access to most resources will no longer be possible. In addition you will not be able to save, or load, resources saved online within PurpleMash. Please download to your own computer any that you wish to keep.

June 11, 2016: eSafety poster competition winners
Congratulations to Adam, year 6 and Ellie, year 4 for winning the esafety poster competition. Both pupils have had their artwork printed into full size posters which will displayed around the school.They are both fab and promote an important message.
