October 23, 2017: The Stone Age Rocks!
What a fantastic half term we've had exploring the Stone Age! Class 3 have been very busy digging for evidence, researching animals of the Stone Age, designing our very own cave paintings, producing rock databases, building Stonehenge out of biscuits, as well as creating sunset silhouette art work. With a little help from Ug, Om and The Stone Age Boy, we've also written some fabulous setting descriptions, instructions on how to catch a prehistoric beast and diary entries sharing how much we hate wearing stone trousers! We finished our topic by reflecting on everything we've learnt and working collaboratively to produce a whole class Stone Age fact file.

October 20, 2017: What a topic!
Well our first half term topic has come to an end. We started by asking the question "Did the Flintstones get it right?", and now we can answer that question. There was lots of fun, creativity and of course writing over the last 6 weeks.

October 18, 2017: Stonehenge Sunsets
As we come to the end of our half term project, we have created some wonderful artwork of a Stonehenge silhouette in front of a stunning sunset. Here are just a few examples of their creations.
