Georges Marvellous Medicine

In literacy we have been looking at the characters in Roald Dahl stories. We've looked at Mr. and Mrs. Twit in 'The Twits', and decided that they were horrible, mean, selfish and nasty people. We also decided that the monkeys had had enough of the nasty behaviour of The Twits, and wanted to get their own back...

We wondered whether the same was true of other stories - and looked at Georges Marvellous Medicine. Could we find more horrible, mean, selfish and nasty characters who make others unhappy, resulting in those unhappy characters getting their own back?

After reading a little bit of the story, we then decided to watch a Jackanory, where an actor told the story. You can view the WHOLE of the story in a playlist on our YouTube channel. Enjoy :o)
