Class 6 Coordinates Homework

For your homework this week you need to be thinking more about co-ordinates.

Using the first sheet, can you put the following items into the correct place;

• Treasure Chest #1 at (L,7)
• Treasure Chest #2 at (D,4)
• Pot #1 at (D,7)
• Pot #2 at (L,2)
• Pirate at (I,5)
• Gold bars at (F,1)

Remember that when giving the position as a coordinate, you go ACROSS first, and then UP.

As an extension, you can also print out both sheets and play the coordinates game with someone at home.
