Football tournament at the Academy

On Wednesday 29th April the school took part in a football tournament at Nottingham Forest's academy ground. The boys played with great skill and quickly won their first 2 games 3-0 and 2-1. In the deciding game against West Bridgford the lads were very unlucky to lose 1-0. The team effort was fantastic and the sportsmanship shown was a credit to the school. Well done to Earl, Aaron, Ben, Owen, Tomas, George, Kieffa and Josh.

This week in School Council we have been talking about door monitors this was brought up from the suggestion box which is gold this suggestion was written by Paris.Unfortunatley we decided that we weren`t going to take the idea on.We are not doing door monitors because people might be lying about the reason about going inside during break.

500th Post!

This is the 500th post on the school website!! Congratulations to Mr. Widdowson for the wonderful website we have in school that enables us all to be active and showcase work. I would like to create an adjective chain describing the website to mark the achievement. All you have to do is post a positive adjective describing the website. Lets see how many we can get! Boccia Success!

Congratulations to Matthew, Sophie, Troy and Maizie who took part in a Boccia tournament yesterday. They played with great skill and managed to come second. Also, their behaviour was excellent and we are very proud of the way they represented the school. Well done all!

Cancellation of Tanzanian Headteachers' Visit

Unfortunately, the visit by the Headteachers from our partner schools in Tanzania has been cancelled as they have been refused visas to travel. This is a massive disappointment to us all. However, the chlldren that were in the group to visit County Hall on Tuesday will still be going.

Football Team Success!

The school team had a great game of football last night (Wednesday 1st April). We managed to beat Burton Joyce who top the league 2-1 which was a big turn around from the previous game that we lost 6-0! The boys played extremely well and worked hard as a team for each other.
