A look into the Past

Porchester Junior School celebrated 100 years of educating pupils on October 10th 2009. This section of the school website is dedicated to building up a detailed history of the school. Did you attend the school in previous years? If so, why not tell us what you remember about the lessons, or other memories that you have of the school.

The history of the school log books has been researched, and you can read about what has been learnt in the school logbook section, or view the interactive school timeline that we have built here.

Photographs of past years are displayed too, and if you have more, please email a copy of them to us using the address at the bottom of this page, or contact us to arrange a time for us to copy them. We can't promise to use all images, but we'll put the best on the website.

We'd really like to hear from former pupils who are willing to record their audio memories to use on the website. Again, please contact us (see bottom of the page), to discuss this opportunity.
