Porchester Junior - Citadel: Telling An Epic Tale

Creativity in the world of Epic Citadel

Showing the World

With our project completed, we have had the opportunity to share our results with others, and on Friday January 14th 2011, our work was chosen to be shown in a presentation by Tim Rylands at the BETT show in London.

The slideshow shown below shows you some of the parts of the project that were shown at BETT (please note, this is NOT the presentation that was given - as the content was also interspersed with other inspirational ICT from other schools too).

We also had the opportunity to show a few videos of the project too;

1) Showing how the pupils used the iPad to draft, review and edit their work...

2) Showing locations within the app that work could be based around...

3) Showing the different ways that the children presented their work...

4) Showing how the children used the Brushes app to create their own artwork...

Our project was also shown during the week at other presentations too, on Monday Tim showed the project at the Learning Without Frontiers conference.

On Tuesday Andrew Rhodes featured our work in a presentation, and on Thursday Tim spoke at an Apple event and, again, our work was shown.

It has been a good week for the fourteen intrepid travellers who created the content for this project. Their excellent work has been recognised and appreciated by many. Congratulations to...
